Between the ages of 5-11 students are in the Junior School. They have the opportunity to learn ballet, jazz and tap. There are 7 different levels within this part of the school, ensuring that children are taught based on their age and ability. We keep class sizes small and focus on progress and safe dance practice. In their ballet classes students learn character dancing as well as ballet technique. Royal Academy of Dance exams are offered and everyone is invited to perform in the annual production.

Performances
All students are invited to participate in the annual performance held April 4th and 5th at Ashland High School. Previous performances have included Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Snow White.
All students perform on December 15th in the studio for their family at Festive Treats. This is a showing of classwork and celebration of the end of the year.
Students have the opportunity to take Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams in May/June of each year by invitation.
Important
Class placement is at the discretion of the Director and Faculty of Metrowest Dance Academy. Classes that have 4 or fewer students are subject to cancellation within the first two weeks of the semester.
All payments are made monthly and credit card will be billed automatically on the first of the month September to May with one month paid in advance upon registration.
