What will I learn?

A rich education in dance for the beginner to the professional student and also adult dancers. Excellent training in classical ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, musical theater and hip-hop. Building confidence, health and a love of the performing arts.

Who will teach me?

Teachers at Metrowest Dance Academy are educated to train dancers, offering developmentally appropriate lessons to foster grace, joy and understanding. Teachers undergo annual professional development ensuring up-to-date practice across all classes.

Where will I learn?

Throughout the 6000 sq ft there are high ceilings and natural light. We are located close to downtown Framingham. Metrowest Dance Academy comprises 3 spacious studios, a welcoming reception area and changing room with private cubicles.

Little Steps Classes

Our Little Steps program is growing! Designed for dancers ages 3–5, these classes introduce ballet and creative movement in a fun, nurturing environment. Space is available Tuesdays 4:00–4:45 PM, Wednesdays 5:30–6:15 PM, and Saturdays 9:00–9:45 AM (ages 3–4) or 9:45–10:30 AM (ages 4–5).

*New* Musical Theater Program

We are excited to launch our new year-round Musical Theater program, following the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Musical Theatre syllabus! Students will develop their acting, singing, and dancing while exploring a variety of plays and musicals throughout the year. Classes follow a three-week cycle: two classes split time between acting and theater dance, and the third is dedicated to a voice lesson with our vocal coach. Inquire today!

Graduating Seniors

Congratulations to our graduating seniors, Kaitlyn, Quinn, and Ruby! This fall, Kaitlyn will attend Villanova University, Quinn will attend Indiana University, and Ruby will attend Pitzer College. We are so proud of all they have accomplished at MDA and wish them the very best in this exciting new chapter!

Summer 2026

We had a fantastic summer at Metrowest Dance Academy! Dancers stayed active and continued building their technique during our three-week Summer Class Series before joining us for two weeks of our Summer Intensive with MDA and guest faculty. We wrapped up the summer with our Theater Dance Workshop, where students explored acting, singing, and dancing. It has been wonderful to see so many dancers learning, creating, and challenging themselves in the studio all summer!
