Metrowest Dance Academy is holding an audition for their 6th annual "The Nutcracker: Clara's Dream" on Saturday, September 26th.

This will be our interpretation of The Nutcracker featuring the rich Tchaikovsky score and favorite excerpts such as Snow, Sugarplum Fairy, and the Waltz of the Flowers. Our dancers will tell this wonderful holiday classic starting with Clara waking up to a battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse Queen.

We are delighted to bring this wonderful opportunity to the Metrowest Dance Academy registered dancers entering Grade 1 ballet and above this Fall.

Performances are scheduled to be on December 5-6, 2025 at Wellesley High School. This is subject to change.

Rehearsals will take place Saturdays from 2.00-5.00pm at Metrowest Dance Academy October 3rd to November 21st. No rehearsal on Saturday, November 28th.

Dancers will be required for a specific period within the three hour slot each week. Dancers in one dance can expect a 45 minute rehearsal each week.  Full attendance is required of every cast member at all rehearsals.

Audition Schedule September 26th:

• 1:45-2:15 Grade 1 and 2
• 2:30-3:00 Grade 3 and 4
• 3:15-4:00 Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate
• 4:15-5:15 Advanced levels
